Lavon Affair
Talk0this wiki
In 1954 Israeli agents (a synonym for racist Zionist Jews) in Egypt planted bombs along with evidences implicating Arabs as the likely culprits in several buildings (including a United States diplomatic facility). Continuing their audacious campaign against the British administration of Palestine, the Zionists developed terrorist 'False Flag operations' to falsely persuade public opinion that Zionist tactics of savage bombings were instead the exclusive province of enemies of Israel.
This crude ruse would have succeeded, but that one of the bombs detonated prematurely. This allowed Egyptians to capture and identify bomber Philip Natanson, and led them to the spy-ring. Some conspirators were Israeli; others were locals recruited from Egypt's Jewish population. Israeli media operatives initially denied that there was any spy ring, promoting an idea it was all another conspiracy hoax being perpetrated by the "anti-Semite" enemies of Israel.
But as the public trial progressed it became evident that Zionists had ultimate responsibility for the bombing. Israeli Defense Minister Pinhas Lavon was brought down by ensuing scandal. Further it appeared that Lavon had been framed by the larger authors of this plot.
[1] After decades of official denial, In March 2005 Israel admitted liability- and simultaneously fueled a new era of terrorist duplicity by offering public honors to the surviving, known operatives of the plot. President Moshe Katsav presented an keepsake official certificate of appreciation to each, on behalf of the terrorist state of Israel.
