Voter Fraud In New Hampshire

From What Really Happened Wiki

This is really two stories. There was a Democratic primary in New Hampshire, and a Republican primary, both on the same day. In both primaries there is strong evidence of irregularity, which in both cases has led to requests for a recount.

[edit] Democratic Primary

Obama in non-Diebold towns garnered 38.7% of the vote to Clinton's 36.2%. The results in Diebold towns show the exact opposite: Clinton with 40.7% of the vote and Obama with 36.2%. While Hillary Clinton appears to be the main beneficiary of the New Hampshire result, it is quite likely that any fraud would have been perpetrated by Republicans. It is Republicans who control the vote counting machinery, and many Republicans would like Hillary to be the Democratic nominee because they consider that she would be easy to beat.

Candidate Dennis Kucinich has asked for a recount citing "serious and credible reports, allegations and rumors" . He has promised to pay the costs, and has paid the $2000 deposit necessary to get the ball rolling. On his website he states that he has sent a letter to the New Hampshire Secretary of State asking for a recount of Tuesday's election because of "unexplained disparities between hand-counted ballots and machine-counted ballots."

[edit] Republican Primary

In Sutton, New Hampshire, Congressman Paul was reported as receiving 0 votes. Only after several people had complained that they had voted for Paul there was the total corrected to 31, with an explanation that it had been "human error".

CNN was already projecting the New Hampshire winner when only 12% of the precincts had reported. At that point they reported John McCain with 37%, Mitt Romney at 28%, Mike Huckabee at 14%, Rudy Guiliani at 9% and Ron Paul at 8%. As the night progressed, these figures hardly changed. And yet, there was a big difference between the precincts that reported early and those that reported late. In some precincts, results were not reported until four hours after the polls had closed. These were not the precincts that were hand-counted, as might be expected. They were the ones using Diebold voting machines. As Bev Harris of Black Box Voting said, "How the heck can you not push "print" for four hours???"

There are demographic differences between the areas that use machines and those that hand count, and in the Democratic case the claim is that these demographic differences account for the odd discrepancies. And yet the projected totals on the Republican side hardly changed. This would be statistically improbable even if the whole state was completely homogeneous and the same method of counting was used everywhere.

[edit] Recounts

Albert Howard of Michigan, who received about 40 votes, has asked for the recount on the Republican side, and paid the required $2000 deposit. Ron Paul, in an official statement on his website, says "I carefully considered the arguments for and against a recount before instructing my campaign staff not to pursue it. Without a firm belief that vote fraud had taken place, and without the possibility that a recount would have increased the chances for success of our campaign, a recount would have diverted campaign resources, time, and energy away from crucial battles elsewhere."

Albert Howard was told that the cost of the Republican recount was would be $55,600, and he was given a day to come up with the cash. The deadline he was given was 3pm on the 15th of January. A huge and successful effort by the Granny Warriors. a Ron Paul support group, raised the money and they ordered the transfer to the Secretary. However, at the very last moment, PayPal FROZE THE ACCOUNT and did not transfer the money. The deadline for payment of the deposit passed and the recount application was rejected for lack of payment.

Paypal initially gave no reason for stopping the payment. Later they said "ONE" of the donors had an arabic name and there was SUSPICION it was coming from the middle-east so they froze the whole $55,600 instead of freezing just that one payment. Because of these shenanigans it looked for a while as if never be possible to know for certain if the New Hampshire republican vote was rigged. However, it is clear that favors have been called in, which wouldn't have been called in if everything was above board. And the stench of corruption now hangs over the election regardless of whether the counting was done properly or not.

Because of overwhelming pressure the New Hampshire Secretary of State was forced to relent and say he would initiate a Repubican-side recount if it was paid for by 3pm on the 16th. An unnamed "knight in shining armor" rode in and presented a cheque, and the recounts commenced. Even when recounting had only been done for parts of Manchester and Hillsborough, it was already evident that there were numerous small discrepancies, affecting nearly every candidate. Many voters were given the wrong pen to use and the op-scanners did not "see" the particular type of ink used in those pens.

The memory cards used in the Diebold optical-scanners are apparently "missing in action". Some have reportedly been returned to LHS, the company responsible for maintaining the Diebold machines in New Hampshire, and may have been erased already (17th Jan). Federal law requires all materials from elections be preserved for 22 months after the election.
